Our office is located in the town of Moultonboro (also seen as Moultonborough in some places) on Route 25,
right at the lights in Center Harbor. We pride ourselves on the fact that we can provide the same high-tech services as the big corporate Real Estate offices, but with
friendly, old-fashioned service that you would expect from a
small-town Realtor. Your satisfaction is our #1 concern...
after all--we'd like to call you "neighbor"!
A little bit about our area:
Moultonboro
With over 60 miles of frontage on Lake Winnipesaukee, Moultonboro
is a true lakeside community. The Ossipee Mountains provide a
scenic backdrop to Moultonboro Bay, a perfect setting for boating,
fishing and swimming. At the end of Moultonboro neck is Long
Island, a protected area for deer. An early evening drive here
usually yields many deer sightings. Visitors to the area in the
summer should not miss Castle in the
Clouds, a unique estate with commanding views of the lake.
Meredith
Located at the northwestern tip of Lake
Winnipesaukee, Meredith blends a lake community with
shopping, fine arts and and a variety of activities in a classic
New England village. The town dock has a lakeside walking area and
park decorated with flower pots. Lots of public docking is
available. Nearby are restaurants, inns, and The historic Mills
Falls Marketplace, a unique setting for shops and restaurants.
Each summer Meredith host the Lakes Region Fine Arts and Crafts
Festival, which attracts professional artists and craftsman from
all over the world.
Center Harbor
A quaint New England village nestled at the northwest corner of
Lake Winnipesaukee, Center Harbor also borders Squam Lake, the
location for the filming of "On Golden Pond". Quilters from
all over the world flock to the town's Keepsake Quilting, America's
largest quilt shop. From May through November the M/S Mount Washington steams
into Center Harbor to pick up passengers for a scenic cruise around
the lake.
Gilford
Gilford is nestled at the bottom of the Belknap Mountain range.
Fishing, swimming, horseback riding and extensive hiking trails are
major attractions of this scenic community. Gilford boasts two of
the regions largest recreation areas, Ellacoya State Park with its 600 foot sandy beach and
Gunstock
Recreation Area with its camping area and ski trails.
Laconia Laconia
is the only city located on Lake Winnipesaukee. An old mill
community, Laconia reveals the architecture from the industrial
period with Belknap Mill, a restored, still-functioning, mill
building. The Mill has become a year round cultural center offering
programs in music, lectures and exhibits. The downtown offers many
shops and eating establishments ranging from fast food to gourmet
dining.
Weirs Beach
Weirs Beach is the center
of activity on the lake and still retains the flavor and character
of a time when Lakeside Avenue was crowded with visitors arriving
by train and steam ship to stay at grand hotels like the Hotel
Weirs and dance to the Big Bands at Irwin's Winnipesaukee Gardens.
Today Weirs Beach remains
a perfect spot to spend a day with it's large sandy beach,
boardwalk, arcades and restaurants. A walk down the boardwalk will
take you by the station for the Winnipesaukee Scenic
Railroad and several cruises including
the 230' M/S Mount
Washington. Weirs
Beach is also a favorite destination for recreational
boaters with public docks and boat slips, boat rentals and gas
docks in ample supply.
